Are you ready to make an impact in Property Compliance across the UK? As a CDM Consultant, you will play a crucial role in delivering Principal Designer services under CDM 2015, driving sustainable growth, ensuring statutory compliance and governance, and retaining and developing our client base. You will be responsible for generating fees equivalent to twice your salary annually through these services, contributing to TRE's growth and financial performance. As a key team member within the Property Compliance BU, you will consistently display our company culture and behaviors while collaborating with other divisions to achieve TRE targets and provide a seamless client experience. Your commitment to professional and exceptional service delivery, adherence to Concerto CRM, CASE, and Quality Management processes, and development of the Principal Designer & Property Compliance service line in collaboration with the Head of Property Compliance are essential. Join us and support other TRE BUs while following industry practices and legislation to competently deliver outstanding Principal Designer and Property Compliance Services.

And as a CDM Consultant with Nifes, you’ll do it by
- High degree of direction, self-reliance, assertiveness and the ability to hit the ground running
Ability to challenge positively and debate confidently.
- Resolves difficult issues using appropriate conflict resolution techniques
- Strong planning, communication and people skills together with a “hands-on” approach.
- Good stakeholder/client management skills, with the ability to quickly demonstrate an understanding of Bellrock’s business and clients’ business and the market dynamics in which we operate.
- Ability to influence groups and engage both internally and externally.
- Develop customer relationships with both existing and potential clients through fully understanding their requirements.
- Deliver minimum 2x salary in fees through personal delivery or contribution
- Aim to secure £250k fees in 2021-22 through personal contact or direct business development activity through developing current or past client relationships.
- Develop network and work collaboratively with all contacts, working closely with them to manage and offer new business activity for all services across the business but with focus on TRE services, ensuring this is applied to all new opportunities.
- Attend and contribute to T&RE Property Compliance Meetings where required
- Support colleagues where appropriate.

**What does it take?**

- Excellent understanding of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
- Good understanding of wide UK construction and property H&S legislation such as Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 etc.
- Demonstrable experience of working in the UK construction industry in a wide range of sectors including, but not limited to; healthcare, IT, general refurbishment, commercial and public sector.
- Good experience on working as part of a design team to identify and eliminate hazards present within the design; including experience of preparing, reviewing and updating hazard elimination documentation (such as design risk assessments)
- Provision of advice to clients on how to comply with their duties under CDM 2015 and experience in assisting the client in the discharge of those
- Experience in assessing the competency of designers and Principal Contractor’s.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing the statutory documents associated with CDM 2015 including Pre-Construction Information, Construction Phase Plan and H&S Files etc.
- Experience in undertaking site audits and inspections Ideally experience in assisting Principal Contractor’s to comply with their obligations under CDM 2015.
