Poultry Farm Worker

An opportunity has arisen for a poultry farm worker to assist the management team on a modern 6 shed Broiler Farm based in Herefordshire

Whittern Farms Ltd is a family-owned farming business, Owned by the Hilditch family since 1870, spanning over 652 acres. Our main enterprises are broiler chickens, blackcurrants, cider apples, arable, holiday lets and renewable energy.

**The Responsibilities**

Assisting the site manager with day to day aspects of running the farm

Ensuring high welfare of livestock.

Basic record keeping.
- Work well with others and have a good command of both spoken and written English.
- Have a good level of physical fitness and ability to carry out manual duties.
- Have a full UK driving license.
- Telehandler experience (not essential)
