COMPANY PROFILE:
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Manufacturing representative inside the Small & Medium Tractors GPP to execute product modularity and standardization strategy

Supports plant complexity reduction targets through product standardization since early stage of design. Challenges to reduce overall product complexity and improve costs by the use standardized solutions across all platforms.

Collects, delivers, and monitors the manufacturing strategy with respect to complexity management across the various global product platforms, to achieve cost and modularity targets.

Monitors the complexity evolution in the various plants and actively uses product/components development and phase-in /phase-out as an opportunity to achieve targets

Keeps all other functions of tractor product line accountable for their deliverables within expected time frame.

Supports the PD Manufacturing Manager.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Evaluates the impact of new products introduction in the plants.
- Engages and leads the discussion with manufacturing engineering, advance manufacturing, plant logistics as well as plant launch team, in defining priorities, setting targets and evaluating benefits of modular approach and product standardizations across all locations.
- Engages and steers the discussion with product design teams, cost managers and commercial representatives with respect to manufacturing targets
- Supports and encourages advanced manufacturing engineering, feasibility analysis and DFA/DFM since early stage of design.
- Provides guidance, coaching and support to platform members with respect to the cost and risks of complexity.
- Supports Plants and Launch Managers in critical phases

YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Engineering background or equivalent culture
- Familiarity with tractor or industrial vehicles production methodologies
- Familiarity with tractor BOM structure and offering, Product development processes in general
- Fluent in WCM, Lean manufacturing & Production Systems

OTHER INFORMATION:

- English mandatory. Italian preferrable.
- Project management experience
- Business case analysis skills
- Methodical approach, problem-solving and analytical ability
- Team working attitudes
- Leadership and assertiveness skills
- Accountability, responsiveness, and sense of urgency.
- Self-directed, solid leadership skills
- Communication skills; position interfaces to multiple project teams on a global basis
- Willing and able to travel, as needed, to support tractor and component plants in EU and WW
