Refurb Supervisor

**The Role**

Reporting to the Quality Control Team Leader, this role is responsible for supervising the Refurb team on a day-to-day basis. Working closely alongside the wider warehouse team and driver network, you will ensure that returning equipment is scanned and triaged in line with quality and operational standards.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supervising the team on a day-to-day basis to delegate tasks and monitor KPI’s.
- Solving quality issues on new and refurb units.
- Solving quality issues on the Cold Room panels.
- Monitoring spare parts and consumables level and conducting stock take of spare parts and units in refurb when required.
- Creating and maintaining inventory of spare parts within correct system.
- Prioritizing the tasks for the refurb department and communicate to the wider team.
- Prepare cost projections of the repairs.
- Training and supporting new members of refurb team.
- Following and promoting health and safety procedures to ensure the welfare of yourself and those around you.
- Scanning and logging units into correct locations using scanners, Fast Field, FL, new EPR system.
- Ensuring the safe and effective use of refurb/workshop space.
- Assisting Warehouse Manager to introduce and update Standard Operating Procedures
- Highlighting and implementing areas of continuous improvement to improve refurb efficiency and quality of the repairs.
- Supporting the wider warehouse team when required.

**Skills & Experience**:
**Essential**
- Experience in metal or plastic repairs
- Strong work ethic and can-do attitude
- Solution focussed mindset and resilient in problem solving
- Self-motivated and proactive in using own initiative
- Flexible and adaptable
- Strong team ethos
- Working level of English - must be able to understand and communicate health and safety standards to team
- Computer literacy
- Physicality for manual handling. This role involves bending, stretching and twisting for long periods of time.
- Counterbalance Forklift Qualification

**Desirable**
- Demonstrable experience of supervising or motivating team members towards common goal
- Proven experience of assisting with or leading the implementation of organisational efficiencies and operations
- Prior experience with Warehouse Management Systems

Pay: From £28,000.00 per year
