**DUTIES**
**FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS**
Processing cash, Cheque, Debit Card & Bacs Payments
Issuing Loans and Share withdrawals, Disburse cash, cheque & bacs payments to members
Recording all payments and receipts in members’ accounts.
Assisting members with queries related to deposits, withdrawals, loan repayments and passbooks.
Accurately balance till & float transactions daily.
Managing allocated funds in accordance with established company procedures.
Setting up/Amending Direct Debit & Standing Orders payment plans as per member instruction
Scanning, filing and general office administrative duties
**MARKETING/PROMOTION**
Provide accurate information to members to enable them to decide which services/products would best suit their needs.
Keep the front office clean and tidy so as to project a favorable image of the Credit Union.
**GENERAL**
Ability to develop and maintain an understanding of Credit Union services, systems and procedures.
Ensure tellers’ booth has an adequate supply of forms, envelopes, passbooks etc.
Update member profiles by processing all relevant forms to the database.
Credit Control liaison review of Members accounts/Computer notes and advising Members of any arrears face to face at the Counter opportunistically
Assemble and issue Welcome Pack to new members.
Any other reasonable duties identified at any time by the Manager / Assistant Manager, with training provided where necessary
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**MEMBER/CUSTOMER RELATIONS**
Serve as a direct point of contact for members
Provide a positive image of the organisation in all dealings with members and the general public.
Open accounts for new members and informing them about the range of products and services available
Ensure all members receive excellent service and help with queries, concerns or complaints.
Receive all deposits and loan repayments from members and to disburse all cash and cheque & electronics online payments.
Interact with prospective customers and members to promote the Credit Union and its products/services.
Advise members on the benefits of Loan Protection/Life Savings & Death benefit Insurance
Commitment to both personal and professional development by attending designated & online courses, seminars etc
**RECORD KEEPING**
Record and update confidential member information on the database.
Ensure all deposits and payments are promptly recorded.
Ensure all electronic and hard copies of records are promptly, accurately and securely filed.
Adhere to established systems and operational procedures with regard to the Management and disclosure of confidential information and protection of personal and sensitive member information in accordance with Data Protection regulation

**Salary**: £7.28-£12.22 per hour
Expected hours: 34.5 per week
