Procurement Advisor

Our client is looking for a Temporary Procurement Advisor to be responsible for tendering and contract management for all generalist categories including furniture, equipment, and supplies procurement; and car fleet, tendering and contract management reportinginto the Procurement Manager.

As a Temporary Procurement Advisor, your responsibilities include:

- Report into and support the Procurement Manager to improve the function
- Use a strategic approach to all current and upcoming projects
- Sell the benefits of using procurement internally to the key members of the business
- Proactively look at current spending and offer alternative methods/suppliers for improvement and cost savings
- Cross-functional strategy implementation
- OJEU & public sector experience is ideal
- Strategic procurement experience across relevant categories
- Proven achievements in cost savings or improved service delivery to the business
- Ideally some exposure to all categories

This position offers both working from home and in the office.
