The Copywriter provides content execution at CDW. The Copywriter is responsible for writing and delivering excellent creative copy, corporate writing, documenting propositions, customer references as well as creating content for integrated marketing campaigns from concept to completion.- As a Copywriter, you'll use your creativity, communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities to develop written pieces that are clear, succinct, and engaging. You will assist CDW UK's marketing and communications activities by planning, generating, and publishing relevant, high-impact messages for internal and external audiences.- Reporting to the Head of Brand Marketing, you will be working with multiple stakeholders to create content for digital and offline marketing. The role will be expected to work on content that will incorporate business and technology messaging for CDW and our strategic partners. The role will lead the creation of content to tight timescales delivering excellence in content creation.Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with CDW marketing teams in creating and writing relevant, brand-aligned content that is engaging and consistent across all media channels
- Contribute to marketing campaigns through strategy, planning and delivery, presenting proposals, implementing initiatives, and ideating new messaging
- Taking into account the copywriters brief, creating copy options, modifying copy and overseeing the production phase to deliver the copy to deadlines
- Conduct interviews with stakeholders to obtain key information and translate this into different types of content
- Create content for every stage of the customer journey through strong brand positioning, integrated storytelling, and promotional elements
- Develop digital content (website, banners, landing pages etc.) and strengthen CDW’s online presence by ensuring web copy is optimised for search and structured to suit web readers
- Work with Creative Designers to ensure that the copy fits the needs of projects
- Create content for CDW Corporate communications
- Identify appropriate language choices to create a bridge between technical content and non-technical people
- Be a proofreader and sub-edit content as required
- Ensure compliancy with corporate identity and brand guidelines
- Collaboration with CDW US and Canada to maintain consistent standards of execution across the region in regards to tone of voice and brand identity
- Coordination with external suppliers, e.g. agencies as required

**What you need to succeed**:
**Must-have**:
Essential- 5+ years of content experience, preferably in journalism or a content Marketing role
- Highly proficient with grammar and punctuation
- Experience with proofreading background (UK style guide familiarity - Oxford Style Guide)
- Experienced in different types of copywriting including Marketing, Brand, Technical, Public Relations, Thought Leadership and Online writing / SEO
- Experienced in researching content themes, technical feasibility and overseeing the management of deliverables
- Experience of conducting interviews and drafting questions required for copywriting briefs
- Planning and multi-tasking is a prerequisite, as the jobholder will need to manage several projects at the same time
- Must be able to prioritise workloads and react under pressure to ensure that all deadlines are met
- Must have a professional attitude, building relationships with internal & external stakeholders
- Achieves optimum results through own performance
- Is personally committed to and actively works towards continuously improving self and others

- Experience of working in IT reseller environment would be advantageous
- Creation of technical writing that creates clear information about complex technology products, software and processes
