**Outreach Worker**

**Alternative Provision Education - St Albans, Hatfield, Welwyn and Watford roles - Long term to permanent posts - Salary on Herts H6 (Pro rota - £20,034) - 8.30am to 4.30pm - Must drive**

Are you experienced in the field of education and supporting students on a pastoral level? Would you be keen to take on a non-class based role where you will help students who are struggling in mainstream education to stay in tehri current schools?

Tradewind works exclusively with this hugely successful Multi Academy Trust of Alternative Provision Schools who are looking to recruit Outreach Workers to take on cases across Hertfordshire

**Outreach Workers required (minimum 3 positions)**

**Term time positions based on 41 weeks per year - 5 days per week, 8.30am to 4.30pm**

**Roles available in St Albans, Hatfield, Welwyn and Watford**

**Pro rota salary of £20, 034**

**Training available - outreach experience not required although education background needed**

**Who can be an Outreach Worker?**

Successful Outreach Workers have good experience working in schools. They can be teachers who no longer want to teach, support staff in terms of Teaching Assistants or Academic Mentors or they can be from external agencies that work in schools. The mostimportant part of the role is an understanding nature and the desire to help students regain their confidence and love of education.

- Immediate or as soon as possible start on a temporary to permanent basis.
- Salary on H6 Hertfordshire pay scale between £20,034
- 35-hour week between 8.30am and 4.30pm - Term time only
