Summer Placement

**In summer 2023 The Hub Pharmacy is running a 1 week work experience placement** for students who have just completed the 3rd year of their Pharmacy Degree. The voluntary work experience placement will be available during w/c 24th July and w/c 7th August in our Pharmacies. We hope having 2 different start dates will help you plan a great summer.

**We hope the week will give you a taster of what it could be like to start your community pharmacy career with the Hub Pharmacy.** A short workbook will guide your placement with time looking at the dispensing process, pharmacy services and the self-care aspects of community pharmacy, helping you see how your clinical knowledge fits in to the day to day support of great patient care. The voluntary work experience week will include practical experience working alongside and shadowing the pharmacist and team members. Following the placement there may be an opportunity for a summer or flexible contract.
