We are a charity and our reach and impact has grown significantly over the last few years as we’ve developed new models and services for supporting the communities of our county. We’ve got an army of volunteers, both laypeople and healthcare professionals, and a small employed team of both administrative and clinical people. Job Title: Community Fundraising Manager

Location: LIVES HQ, Units 5 - 8 Birch Court, Spratt Close, Boston Road Industrial Estate, Horncastle, LN9 6SB

**Salary**: £25,000 pro-rata

Hours of Work: 22.5 hours per week PT pro-rata

Responsible to: Fundraising Manager

Responsive to: LIVES Leadership Team, LIVES HQ Staff, External Customers and Suppliers

**Job Purpose**

**Main Duties**

Provide administrative support across the Fundraising team.

To provide warm, thankful, and efficient donor care to all supporters, including the efficient and donor centred processing of donations.

Identify income from regular giving donations, manage in line with the specific donor journey.

Deliver excellent stewardship to donors, fundraisers and event participants implementing agreed donor journeys relevant to various income streams, maximising the lifetime value of every supporter.

Liaise with the Finance team to ensure that accurate financial records are maintained, and financial best practices are adhered to.

To maintain the CRM, Donorfy and ensure all supporter communications are logged.

To use the CRM so all donors are thanked in an appropriate and timely manner.

Provide administrative support to the fundraising department to co-ordinate and communicate with fundraising volunteers and keep up to date with equipment and materials required from districts. That these are logged out and checked back in.

To keep up to date with Information Governance, Fundraising Regulator and GDPR legislation.

Assist and support lottery administration and fundraising.

To participate with other fundraising responsibilities, including supporting fundraising event preparation and on the day support.

You’ll be passionate about the mission of LIVES charity and enjoy working with all types of people.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to motivate a wide range of people, including other LIVES departments as well as volunteers, to support your activities but over whom you will not have direct authority. You will be required to support volunteers so they can assist with implementing the department plans but there may be occasions when you will have to undertake community activities directly.

You will need to be self-motivated and resilient. Good with managing relationships you will have excellent communication skills, be highly organised, approachable and adaptable.

Manny events will take place at weekends or in the evenings so you will need to be flexible around working hours.

You’ll take a pragmatic attitude to working and be comfortable working at pace whilst still maintaining meticulous detail to all areas of your work.

You’ll have strong IT skills and be proficient in the use of standard Microsoft Office packages. A willingness to use technology to improve the way we support the organisation is vital.

You’ll be able to plan your own workload and prioritise tasks. This requires excellent time management and organisational skills and being able to work well both as part of a team and independently.

You will be able to persuade and motivate a wide range of people and audiences. You should be financially literate and able to accurately develop budgets, plans and forecasts.

You’ll have boundless enthusiasm and energy, be reliable and trustworthy, and be able to drive. You’ll also need a DBS clearance.

You will be required to undertake any other duties that are deemed reasonable as and when required and you will be expected to be flexible in carrying out your responsibilities in accordance with the needs of the Charity.
