Serenity Garden is a new and exciting wedding and events venue and is new for 2024 It is a very exciting time to join the team.

Serenity Garden is set in Pembrokeshire and a few miles away from Saundersfoot and Tenby. It is set in magnificent surroundings, offering our guests an outdoor wedding experience plus the benefit of having on-site accommodation also.

**MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB**

To be responsible for the fulfilment of the Wedding & Events Coordination, and assist with reservations and reception duties on some days on our holiday let site. Ensure that all guests are treated in a courteous, friendly and welcoming manner, giving help and assistance during their wedding day.
To manage the sales and marketing aspect of the Wedding and Events business.
To manage and program the holiday let booking system
To be an Ambassador for Serenity Gardens representing the business at Trade Shows and any similar wedding events from time to time

**MAIN DUTIES**

1. To show prospective events / wedding clients around Serenity Garden in a proactive and engaging manner.

2. Effectively communicate with prospective, current and future clients ensuring that all correspondence is maintained to the company standard.

3. Ensure that all typed business sheets are completed to the company standard.

4. To ensure that the wedding areas are always kept clean and tidy, creating a welcoming first impression for a show round.

5. To assist in the day-to-day service of all customer contact departments.

6. To ensure that the departmental budgets are created and reported on in line with the company standards.

7. To ensure that any regular sales reports are completed in line with the company standards.

8. To ensure that departmental personnel are in correct uniform and that their personal appearance is to company standards.

9. To ensure that all literature brochures and tariffs are up to date and well displayed.

10. To always maximize sales opportunities, identify missed sales opportunities and encourage team members to recognize and react to all sales opportunities.

11. Maintain a courteous, helpful attitude to all guests by anticipating and meeting their individual needs; ensure all Reception staff do likewise.

12. Ensure that the event billing and events ledger are carried out efficiently following the standards of procedure.

13. Ensure that the invoicing details of events related bookings are processed efficiently.

14. To be fully conversant with all Reception equipment. To answer the holiday lets telephone when required ensuring that it is answered politely, efficiently and according to the Hotel’s standard.

15. Ensure that you are aware of present rates, special offers and forth-coming events and maximize all sales opportunities.

16. Promote excellent communication between other departments.

17. Handle all guest messages and mail promptly.

18. To be conversant with the audit and reservation procedures and to carry out shifts in these areas as when and if required.

19. To be fully aware of fire team regulations and to assist in fire evacuations as part of the fire team.

20. To report all Hazards or faulty equipment.

21. To be aware of and comply with the company policy relating to hygiene, health and safety.

22. To carry out reasonable duties requested by the Owners/General Manager.

23. To inform the Owners of any comments or complaints, which may have a negative effect on the business.

24. To always ensure a courteous and helpful manner to clients.

Part Time

Commission on Events

£12.00 PerHour

**Experience**:

- Event Management: 1 year (preferred)
