A London based fund management businesses disruptive technology fund has had strong performance and asset growth recently. They are hiring an Equity Analyst for their fund focussing on disruptive technologies with a focus on robotics and automation. Theinvestment universe includes companies involved in industrial robotics, drones, autonomous vehicles, general automation, surgical robots, 3D printing and artificial intelligence.

2/ A software engineer, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer or PHD/MBA with experience of working in the type businesses they invest in who wants to transition to a role such as this. This individual must have a strong understanding of the underlyingtechnologies of the businesses in their investment universe.

**Key Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Research and analysis of companies within the investment universe
- Organising and holding meetings with companies within the theme
- Assisting in sales and marketing presentations of the fund
- Attendance of industry conferences and seminars

**The role requires**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience within an Equity Research from either a buy or sell side firm (or a background as described in 2/)
- In-depth knowledge and demonstration of wide range of valuation methodologies -DCF, FCF Yield as well as multiple-based valuation - with proven experience of financial modelling and evaluating companies
- Hard working and motivated to run the extra mile
- An independent thinker able to come up with highly differentiated analysis and viewpoints
- Applicants with a CFA/MBA/ACA preferred
