**Estates Surveyor**

**Scarborough North Yorkshire**

**£25-£30 per hour plus holiday pay**

**Mon to Fri 8.30 am to 5 PM**

**Job activities**:

- Assisting with the management of the commercial property portfolio which includes industrial, office, retail, agricultural and other miscellaneous properties.
- Dealing with matters such as rent reviews, lease renewals, assignments, new lettings and other Landlord and Tenant matters.
- Assisting with the rationalisation of the existing portfolio with a view to maximising the quality and quantity of land and property returns. Support of colleagues within the Estates team.
- Writing reports for Cabinet, Individual Cabinet Members, Committees and Project Boards. Undertaking site surveys, inspections and condition reports.
- Liaison with public utilities and other third-party organisations.
- Requirements Live locally or willing to travel to the office/surrounding area when required for inspections etc
- Flexible working but will be required to be in the office some of this time Ideally a Chartered Surveyor with at least 5 years post qualification experience.
- Will look at non-chartered if they have extensive experience beyond 5 years Some Local authority experience is beneficial.
