Reporting to the HR Manager the HR Officer will be responsible for assisting in the provision of the full range of Human Resource (HR) duties across all departments within the organisation.
- Respond to general enquiries about open vacancies/ apprenticeship opportunities.
- Prepare applicant responses/rejection letters/respond to feedback requests with support from hiring managers.
- Prepare new starter packs and complete HR inductions.
- Log all applicant data according to ECNI Annual Monitoring Return requirements.
- Assist with attraction & retention activities as required e.g., attendance at recruitment fairs, apprenticeship /careers events.
- Provide timely HR advice and information to employees on a wide range of generalist issues.
- With guidance from the HR Manager support investigation and disciplinary meetings as required.
- Ensure T&A System is maintained.
- Liaise with OH Provider and H&S Team to schedule BC appointments and referrals.
- Manage the leaver process, including offboarding activities such as exit interviews.
- Maintain the HR internal shared drive, ensuring that systems/files are well organised and stored appropriately.
- Ensure systems and BC personnel records are kept updated and compliant with GDPR.

Support company events and initiatives in relation to Health & Wellbeing.
