Sales Administrator

Anderson Knight is recruiting for an Internal Sales Administrator for a well-established company based in North Lanarkshire.
The role is to work with the Sales Team to achieve the sales strategy and to attain monthly and annual sales targets for the branch.
**Main duties and responsibilities are**:
- Manage existing accounts to achieve maximum business.
- Identify opportunities and maintain customer relationships to maximise sales potential.
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Able to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Experience of working in a sales environment.
- Good data accuracy and attention to detail with good level of numeracy.
- Champion business objectives and ensure strong focus on margin, volume, and profit.
- Quotation processing.
- Dealing primarily with incoming enquiries, smaller accounts, merchants, and cash sales.
- Taking part in product campaigns and supporting the External Sales Manager.
**Key attributes and skills**:
- Previous internal sales experience.
- Sales experience in a construction related distribution (preferable) and competitor knowledge (preferable).
- Good level of numeracy and IT skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft and Excel skills.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and keen to undertake a wide variety of duties as required.
- Ability to build & maintain key relationships with customers & suppliers.
- Knowledge of CRM systems would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of construction products desirable.
