Bailing Operative

**About The Role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a
**Bailing Operative** to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.

**Sunday - Thursday, 8am - 4:45pm**

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- As a Bailing Operative (Warehouse) you will be responsible for the removal and sorting of debris from all the Yard Areas and Loading Bays
- You will liaise with the on-site supervisor when there is a high level of debris found and you will organise the yard and surrounding areas as per company Standards following all the relevant Health and safety practices
- You will safely operate Yard Compactors following all the Standard Operating Procedures and supervise yard areas in and around the compacters, ensuring that no pedestrians access the area while the operations are being taken
- You will maintain an efficient and effective traffic flow within the Site and report any anomalies found with accuracy and in a timely manner
- You will keep all the walk ways clear and block the yard entrances to pedestrians and supervise at all times when vehicles come in to the bay and perform maintenance tasks as and when required by management team

**What are we looking for?**
- You should have the ability to understand Yard processes and procedures is and be willing to take any necessary training to perform the Yard Duties on a day to day basis
- Previous experience in a similar position (goods in)/industry is desirable
- With the ability to push/pull pallet trucks you should be flexible with your working hours with the ability able to cover events 12 hours shifts
- Good communication skills you should be able to work under pressure
- A Forklift Truck License and/or PPT Licence would be desirable
