**Position Objective**:
Working in a team-based environment to perform material handling duties within a lively warehouse, duties include picking & packing of customer orders to meet tight deadlines ensuring orders are shipped right first time/on time.

**Essential Functions**:

- Perform warehouse duties in line with current SOP’s and in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice. Fully adopt company’s PPI (Practical Improvement Program), 5S.
- Required to safely operate distribution equipment, as required, ie Counterbalance and Reach truck are needed, full up to date license required.
- Must have good PC skills to use in house software packages for Pick/Pack/Ship daily of customer orders.
- Maintain records to comply with regulatory requirements, GMPs & SOP’s
- Operate and maintain mechanical equipment.
- Perform any in process checks.
- Performs duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure housekeeping standards are met.
- Supportive of changes.

**Education / Experience**:

- Effective verbal and written communicator with colleagues at all levels.
- Computer Literate - Relevant Systems (E1, Trax, Agile) Intermediate Excel skills
- A good operational understanding of the department and Distribution operation
- Attention to detail and accuracy are vital.
- Self-motivated, proactive demeanor, with a drive to deliver.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Forklift truck license.
- Works in a warehouse environment under temperatures including room temperature, cold room and/or freezer.
- Performs work of a highly repetitive nature. Will walk, stand, reach, and lift up to 25kgs on a continuous basis.
- Will be required to stand for extended durations.
- May handle “packaged” hazardous materials.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
- Must be available to work any shift (with advance notice of shift change).
- Must be flexible to work varying schedules, hours, and overtime as needed.
- Occasional travel may be required 0-10%.
