Summary

Melksham Community Campus is a brand new purpose built leisure complex in the heart of Melksham town centre.

As well as a fully equipped leisure centre the site will also be home to Melksham library and Melksham Without Parish Council.

The brand new leisure facilities will include:

State of the art Fitness suite with 69 equipment stations.
- Six lane, 25 metre swimming pool with village style changing rooms and a learner pool - including pool pods to support with access to both pools.
- Spacious fitness studio for group exercise classes
- Purpose built cycle studio with immersive sound and lights system
- Large sports hall with six badminton courts and the ability to host two five-a-side football pitches, plus line markings for basketball, netball, futsal, volleyball and tennis.
- Large open plan atrium, including cafe style area with family friendly seating areas with views of the swimming pool.
- A Changing Places facility which will provide excellent personal care facilities for those who find it difficult to use standard toilet and changing facilities, making the campus accessible for everyone. (changing places weblink)
- Multi-purpose activity rooms available to book for a range of community activities including parties, meetings, social events and clubs.

We are looking for dynamic individuals to join us as Casual Aquafit Instructors to deliver structured group fitness sessions which are designed to meet the needs of our customers.

**About the role**

As an Aquafit Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching safe, fun, and effective exercise classes, consistent with standards set out within our normal operating procedures.

We will look to you to maintain excellent customer focus at all times, meeting customer expectations and therefore ensuring repeat business. This will include being available to the customers both before and after the sessions to answer queries, motivate and guide.
**About you**

Do you have the right qualifications, excellent communication skills along with experience of customer care within a leisure environment? If so, we would like to hear from you.

You should possess a valid qualification in specialist activity recognised by the governing professional body or specific group fitness class qualifications such as zumba, studio cycling, circuits, pilates, yoga or aquafit as well as a les mills BTS.

Flexibility to cover holidays and sickness at short notice will be required. Depending upon the individual there may be further opportunities to coach other group fitness exercise classes and progress further with on-going continued personal development.
