Warehouse Assistant

This is an excellent opportunity to join an independent flexible packaging company that specialises in design and print of flexible packaging. We are currently underway with our new £10m state of the art facility at Dove Valley Park near Derby, which will give us a 46,000 sq. ft factory more than double the size of our current premises in Ripley.

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant to work 40 hours per week Monday -Friday, working hours to be agreed.

**PURPOSE**:
To provide support and assistance to the Materials Handling Manager, maintaining a focus on Health & Safety while ensuring material is received, located and transported internally to support the factory production schedule and customer despatch requirements.

**THE ROLE**:
The Materials Handling Assistant should in the first instance provide backup and support for the Materials Handling Manager (MHM). This will cover all areas of Materials Handling including, but not limited too, receiving deliveries, making ready finished product for despatch, coordinating the palletisation and movement of raw materials, ensuring that both internal customers (Press/Lamination/Conversion) receive raw and WIP materials as needed to support the production process. The Materials Handling Assistant will work in a team focused, constructive manner, promoting co-operation with all site colleagues and always ensuring compliance with BRC and Health and Safety requirements.
