The Role:

- You will be investigating concerns from customers and the ICO where personal data is involved.
- Liaise with third-party suppliers and manufacturers regarding personal data-related complaints and queries.
- File reports of data breaches with the ICO where necessary.
- Maintain our Personal Data Security Breach Log and provide guidance to the relevant business area in the event of a breach.
- Supervise responses to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), with support from our Data Team.
- Check DSAR responses for quality and accuracy.
- Identify when a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) may be required and provide guidance and advice to colleagues.
- Supply the required DPA template documents, including our Supplier Data Security Due Diligence Questionnaire.
- Review responses to our due diligence questionnaire, identifying security gaps and escalating any concerns.
- Assist with carrying out Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for all projects where personal data is involved.
- Carry out Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs) as required.
- Maintain our Information Asset Register, Record of Processing Activities, and other associated documentation.
- Assist with the completion of data protection questionnaires for suppliers as part of their onboarding processes and annual audits.
- Contribute to policies, procedures and standards where personal data is involved.
- Advise on projects where personal data is involved, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- You will have high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- You will be organised and efficient while prioritising work load in a timely manner.
- You will possess strong interpersonal skills, as relationship maintenance and communication skills are of paramount importance in this role.
- Knowledge of Data Protection Law is highly desirable.
