**About the role**

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Sales and Events Team. We are looking to help the family to grow and develop their business further. Somone who is able to define, articulate and implement the Family’s MICE and Leisure strategy across all 4 locations of business: Crieff, Peebles, West Coast and Aberfeldy. Based primarily at Crieff, the role is available on a Hybrid basis with a minimum of 3 days at Crieff / and / or other sites as required.

Direct Reports: 2 Event Sales Managers, Business Development Manager and Leisure Sales Manager.

Indirect reports: 7 Events Executives, Business Development Executive, Leisure Sales Executive.

- Experience of managing a team of sales / events professionals. Proven track record of motivating and leading a successful team to achieve their best performance and achieving targets within the team.
- A high degree of commercial awareness. Experience of developing and implementing business strategies. Sound understanding and experience of yield management.
- A high level of organisational skills, and planning capability. Ability to manage time effectively and to prioritise tasks.
- A strong customer focussed approach to business.
- Ability to make difficult decisions and implement required changes
