**Overview of the Warehouse Operative role**

This role is based in the warehouse on our clients site in Thame near Aylesbury. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the Warehouse Manager in the delivery of all areas of the warehouse. You will be required to use to warehouse management systems in place to ensure the accurate completion of all client requirements.

You will be the first point of contact for Account Managers, clients and warehouse operatives to handle queries relating to various activities in the warehouse. You will need to be flexible, willing to adapt and challenge and will be comfortable working in a warehouse environment.

Any forklift experience would be helpful for this role but is not essential if you have previous warehouse experience

**Hours, pay and benefits for the Warehouse Operative**:
40 hours per week (various shift patterns between 7am - 8pm)

Salary from £22,000pa (dependent on experience)

28 days holiday incl. Bank Holidays

Uniform provided

**Responsibilities and Duties for the Warehouse Operative**:
**Booking In and Out - **As a Warehouse Operative, you will be required to ensure that all goods are correctly and accurately booked in and out of the warehouse using the various warehouse management systems in place.

**Picking, packing and labelling**

**Stock / Location Management -** Through the use of the warehouse management systems and also physically moving stock, you will be required to ensure that all stock is correctly located (in the warehouse as well as on the systems).

**Communication at all levels - **You will be the first point of contact for clients and account managers

**Forklift Operations - As a Forklift / Warehouse Operative**, you will be required to support in various areas of the warehouse and packing departments. This will include moving or collecting items from the warehouse or packing and labelling items accurately for distribution to clients.

**Health & Safety Compliance - **You will be responsible of ensuring that all activities that you are overseeing comply with appropriate H&S requirements.

**Skills required for the Warehouse Operative**:
Competent, numeracy, Enthusiastic and willing to learn, Experience of using automated warehouse management systems, Keen to work as part of a team, Flexibility.
