To assist the Head Chef in cooking, quality control, presentation and ensuring that food safety standards are adhered to and that necessary paperwork is completed.
**Key Duties**
- Ensure food prepared and well presented in compliance with Hygiene Regulations.
- Assist Head Chef with all issues in line with Food Hygiene Regulations.
- Familiarise yourself with ordering to ensure you can cover when the Head Chef is off.
- Assist with overall cleanliness of Kitchen and surrounding areas.
- Ensure staff under your control are aware of all procedures within the Kitchen.
- Assist Head Chef in maintaining a stock rotation system.
- In Head Chef’s absence ensure Rota’s are in place.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and presentation of all kitchen staff.
