The Client is recruiting for a Multiskilled / Maintenance Technician, located on the Leeds Manufacturing Site, UK.

The purpose of this position is to support the Leeds Operations and R&D sites by performing both proactive and reactive maintenance duties within the production and laboratory environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Daily asset inspections, monitoring plant performance
- Facilitate a speedy response to all asset stoppages and plan/implement replacements to new and existing equipment as required
- Carrying out fault finding diagnosis/repairs on equipment and plant
- Ensure the preventative maintenance schedules are maintained in accordance with the current requirements
- Continuous Improvements identified, implemented and updated in local procedures
- Ensure accurate & timely records are entered into the CMMS for all work carried out, root causes of failures and of spares / consumables used
- Support Engineering projects such as purchasing of new equipment, machine moves, equipment validations etc.

**Qualifications and Experience**:Required**:

- Recognised mechanical /electrical engineering technical qualification or willing to train to achieve one. Consistent track record in a diverse and technically challenging manufacturing environment, if possible experience working within a medical device,pharmaceutical or similar regulated industry.
- Demonstrated Skills and expertise related to maintenance activities.
- CNC Machine Tool environment experience covering Repair and Maintenance preferably with strong electrical background.
- Demonstrated experience of executing PM schedules and maintaining asset care.
- Experience of a computerised maintenance management system and compliance systems.

**Preferred**:

- Ability to prioritise and lead multiple tasks while meeting committed project timelines and budgets.
- A demonstrated ability to develop and implement maintenance plans that result in maximum efficiency with mínimal waste.
- Preferably experience in regulated industry, FDA, ISO, etc
- Preferably experience of mentorship and development Apprentices, junior team members
