Grafton Banks Finance are eager to hear from Brighton based Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable professionals who open to new permanent opportunities. We are working with a local, well-established client who are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role will be overseeing the purchase ledger and responsible for a range of duties.

Responsibilities may include:

- Tracking and processing invoices, alongside seeking approval for payment
- Build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Processing payments on a timely basis
- Resolving queries and ensuring the system is maintained.
- Assisting with bank reconciliations
- Ad hoc duties such as helping the Finance Manager with a range of projects.

Experience and skills desired for this role:

- Experience within a finance/accounts role including purchase ledger
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong communications skills and ability to work to deadlines
