**The Role of a Major Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner (ODP)**:
As a Major Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner (ODP), you will be an integral part of our surgical team, responsible for ensuring that the operating theatre is prepared and all necessary equipment is sterilized and ready for use. During surgical procedures, you will assist the surgeon by passing instruments and supplies, maintaining a sterile field, and anticipating the needs of the surgeon.

Key responsibilities of a Major Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner (ODP) include:

- Preparing the operating theatre for surgical procedures
- Sterilizing and maintaining surgical instruments and equipment
- Assisting the surgeon during procedures
- Maintaining a sterile field throughout the surgery
- Anticipating the needs of the surgeon and providing instruments and supplies as required
- Monitoring the patient's vital signs and responding to any changes or concerns
- Ensuring the safe and efficient transfer of the patient to the recovery area

- Payment Rate: £428.40 per shift
