We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our growing Quality team. Our Quality Inspector ensures that a company's product meets all quality standards including testing the product, ensuring customer specifications are met and certifying the product meets industry standards.
**What you’ll be doing as our Quality Inspector**:
- Coordinate and supervise all quality activities.
- Analyse defects found in production NCR, support the preparation of 8D reports and assure the implementation and verification of necessary containments.
- Carry out Goods In inspection and report any non-conformities to SQE
- Manage quarantine area for non-conforming parts.
- Carry out EOL (GP12) inspections before shipment to final customer.
- Assists with concession & disposition inspection measurements data.
- Prepare all documentation for traceability records.
- Material booking in/release.
- Use all inspection, general measuring equipment, verniers, micrometers etc. CMM is approved.
- Assist and support the completion of MSA studies required for PPAP
- Comply fully with internal and external Quality Audits
- Work within all company guidelines and procedures
- Other duties may also be required.
**The Skills, Knowledge and Experience you will need as our Quality Inspector**:
- Experience in quality tools such as APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC and control plans
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Must have a demonstrated ability to analyse information (including numerical) and understand and interpret trends.
- IT skills (proficiency in Microsoft essential ) SAP an advantage.
- A self-motivated team player with a strong leadership style who takes the initiative to solve problems creatively and lead by example and hands on when required.
- Able to work under pressure.
**Need to have**:
- IATF 16949, ISO 9001 knowledge
- Automotive experience
- Inspection experience
- Problem solving experience.

**Hours**:Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 2.30pm
