**Your Role in that Mission**:
As part of our global sourcing team, what you do contributes in directly to our mission, enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintains strong, advantageous professional relationships with suppliers.
- Liaises with Clinical Program Managers and Solutions for vital knowledge sharing.
- Maintain purchasing systems through the use of relevant cGMPs SOPs and approved processes.
- Acquires and assesses supplier quotations, collating key data as part of Clinical Ancillary bids.
- Raises defined Purchase Orders for approval, then places with compliant suppliers based on appropriate criteria, acquiring confirmation of all aspects.
- Employs standard methodology to improve cost savings opportunities including negotiation tactics.
- Monitors supplier delivery performance, compliance and quality for Clinical Ancillaries taking appropriate action to address, correct and prevent unsatisfactory results.
- Supports enterprise-level strategic direction, local, regional and global sourcing initiatives and CAM team projects.

**As Demonstrated By**:

- Experience within the pharmaceutical R&D, Sourcing / Procurement.
- Proficient English (written and verbal).
- Team-player.
- Very good communication, organizational and negotiation skills
- Able to multitask with attention to details, able to handle stressful situations.
- Basic understanding of regulatory requirements such as cGMPs and GCPs.
- Must possess the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

**Key Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Procurement/Sourcing experience, preferably in the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare sector or highly regulated industry.
