Electrical Supervisor

Experienced Supervisor required to work on a job for Booth Welsh in Chester.

Long term, good rate CIS and looking for someone with good industrial engineering background from the local area.

**Roles and responsibility for the Electrical Supervisor.**
- Able to manage, organise, and co-ordinate a team of operatives including apprentices, labourers, electricians, approved electricians, instrument technicians, and other tradespeople as required
- Deliver tool box talks and daily task and pre-job briefs to the operations team
- Willingness to undertake continuing personal development, obtaining additional qualifications and undertake training to enable career progression within the business or to meet project demands
- Computer literate using the Microsoft Office suite
- Record quality issues, progress, and delays to projects and assist the Commercial and Planning teams with project change notes (PCNs) and updates to project programme
- Use established documented reporting mechanisms e.g., Daily Site Diary, Weekly Reports, Safety Reports
- Assist Site Management teams in quantifying additional scopes of work including labour and material estimates
- Ensure quality documentation is completed to schedule ahead of project handover e.g., as-built drawings, test documentation
- Witness electrical testing
- Relay and monitor effectiveness of all company policies and procedures, and ensure best practice relating to the health and safety of the workforce
- Monitor work parties to ensure Point of Work Risk Assessments (POWRA) are routinely completed (or client site alternative reports)
- Complete weekly site inspections on their own
- Be available to attend as required site meetings, and relay information to site management and/or project teams
