**What you will be doing**:
As the Technical Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the manager to drive the strategy and change forward and ensure a robust control environment. You will manage escalations, ad-hoc project work and the collation and analysis of statistics and MI.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Be the first point of contact for queries and escalations, provide accurate advice and information to both internal and external sources in a timely and professional manner
- Producing reporting and MI to analyse and drive team performance
- Support Scheme Settlements projects & act as a SME
- Prioritise workload effectively throughout the day to ensure the team meets all SLA's and KPI's
- Provide escalation to the Team Manager on a regular basis.
- Continually look for ways of improving efficiencies, providing potential solutions and follow through to implementation.
- Coach the team on any identified training gaps and errors made throughout the month.
- Work collaboratively with other Change Analysts
- Support SOX compliance

**What you bring**:

- Demonstrable experience of working within Settlement Operations.
- Must be confident communicating at all levels - pro-active must have the confidence to approach other business areas for information needed.
- Analysis skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to evaluate complex issues and make decisions
- Ability to look beyond the numbers to identify issues and anomalies and put corrective action in place.
- Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work in a fast moving, challenging environment - must be highly motivated and able to prioritise and deliver to deadlines.

**Added bonus if you have**:

- Qualification or working towards AAT, ACCA or qualification
- Finance Degree
- Working knowledge of general ledger accounting systems would be an advantage
