Experienced Credit Controller required to join a leading Pumps design and Installation firm based in Camberley, Surrey, on a permanent full-time basis. The Credit Controller will be working within the accounts receivable team reporting to the Financial Controllerand will have excellent experience in collection and processing debit notes, cash collection and reducing aged debt and will comfortable working within a fast paced, high volume sales ledger role.
**Credit ControllerPosition Overview**
The Credit Control and Accounts Receivable team are responsible for collection and processing of debit notes. As a Credit Controller, you will assume responsibility for manage a portfolio of accounts by debit note resolution and proactive cash collection.
- Internal and external chasing of high volume of debit notes to resolution
- Querying of invoices and debit notes to seek a resolution
- Chasing overdue debts
- Reconciliation of customer's accounts
- Maintenance of customer files and records
- Liaise with the Credit team in respect of credit limits and held order issues
- Raising of promotional/price credit note
**Credit ControllerPosition Requirements**
- Experienced Credit Controller, or sales ledger clerk, with at least 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience with Xero is beneficial
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- experience within a construction environment is beneficial
- Highly numerate, analytical, highly organised and with a good eye for detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
- Able to solve problems and customer related issues; proactive and takes initiative
**Credit ControllerPosition Remuneration**
£26,000 - £28,000 per annum
10% quarterly bonus
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Office based role
3% pension
