Southampton CAMHS have an exciting opportunity opening for the role of a qualified CBT therapist.

In CAMHS, there is often a high level of complexity in the children and young people we see. The role will involve offering assessments and specialist, evidence-based interventions to children, young people and their families with a range of presenting mental health problems.

The successful applicant will be working within an established CAMHS service alongside the lead Consultant Psychiatrist, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Mental health nurses, and a range of other therapists.

You will work alongside young people and their families to deliver outstanding care and helping to promote independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care.

You will be based at Southampton CAMHS in the City and be part of a wider multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality interventions to children, young people and their families presenting with a range of mental health difficulties. Whilst you will have dedicated time for delivering CBT specific interventions you will also carry out some generic CAMHS work such as supporting our Duty system and initial assessments into the service.
