Our Trainee Pharmacy Assistants will learn all aspects from serving our customers and gaining the knowledge of the dispensing of medication process from beginning to end, they also study the Medicine Pharmacy Assistant course, funded by the company.

The role will also involve establishing and developing long term relationships with customers ensuring to always deliver courteous and effective customer service. You will be required to complete several key tasks to support the running of the pharmacy such as the management of the pharmaceutical stock and equipment and the administration of receiving, storing, maintaining, and issuing medication.

You may be required to deliver healthcare advice and signpost customers where necessary.

**Personal specification - Ideally, we are looking for someone with the following**:

- Experience of working in a community Pharmacy environment as a Dispenser/Counter Assistant - preferred but not essential (Extensive customer service experience essential)
- Dynamic and extremely organised, good attention to detail and high levels of concentration.
- Dedicated to the customer experience and customer care.
- High levels of literacy and numeracy are essential.
