Corporate Security & Business Protection (CSBP) is the department responsible for protecting the Global Jaguar Land Rover Business through effective protective strategies and processes. CSBP is made up of four sub-divisions - Corporate Security Operations Centre (CSOC), Operations, Technical Office and Global Investigations & Partnering. The Global Investigations and Partnering team works to protect JLR’s people, reputation, assets and confidential IP. Acting as a key part of this is the Senior Investigator as part of the Corporate Investigations team who directly oversees the managing of all in scope investigations and is the single point of contact for all law enforcement agenices globally.

**WHAT TO EXPECT**
- This role is accountable for the ongoing tactical deployment of all investigations, police liaison activities and the maintenance of global law enforcement relationships. Relationships are pivotal to the success of the department as they will often lead to early sight intelligence, vehicle recoveries and arrests.
- Travel nationally and international as required, sometimes at short notice.
- Responsible for each law enforcement query that comes into JLR. Based on 2020-2023 data those queries have been increasing YOY and currently sit at an average of 250-300 per month. All of these queries require careful management and generally, all cases are different.
- Responsible for the management of all investigations assigned to the department from HR, Corporate Compliance or through law enforcement. Each investigation will require the deployment of multiple tools from a wide investigation's arsenal.
- Responsible for the deployment of a suite of proactive measures all designed to reduce vehicle theft in society and protect JLR OUV fleets such as:

- Secondary trackers fitted into high profile target vehicles having interpreted regional crime intelligence data
- Strategically working with law enforcement partners in placing “operations” vehicles designed to attract the attention of regional organised crime groups as part of police operations
- Tactically working with law enforcement to share data that leads to successful ‘operations’ on facilities and ultimately recovering stolen vehicles and making arrests
- Managing the proactive social media trawling strategy searching for indicators of intelligence and crime including selling sites
- Partnering JLR Brand Protection for investigations that may require counterfeit identification
- The role is the JLR expert witness statement author both from a experiential and risk perspective. Due to the heightened nature of crime involved, this role is responsible for all JLR witness statements and the coordination of court appearances
- This role forms a leading part of the telematics data request programme - the process to manage all telematics data requests into JLR - and specifically, the role will identify all personnel requiring information and be the point liaison with all agencies
- Compilation of robust reports to feed into the security committee on quarterly basis as well as the Corporate Security annual report
- Manage the relationship and two-way communication flow between CSBP and Product Engineering so that fixes to known vulnerabilities - as exploited by criminals - are made
- Manage the covert surveillance as directed via process approvals ensuring all established practices are met and feedback upon results
- To manage a number of third-party expert suppliers to be deployed for specialist investigations

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**
- Must have experience in a law enforcement specialist vehicle role which is essential to this role
- Must have extensive investigations management experience held either in military intelligence, law enforcement investigations or recognised private investigations companies
- Must be able to use multiple JLR systems including those used by the manufacturing community so that parts and cars can be identified
- A successful track record of leading process improvements.
- Must have an established law enforcement network and the ability to build upon that reach across the UK
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines in a fast paced and challenging environment is essential.
- Must have strong analytical, troubleshooting and negotiation skills and can demonstrate effective problem management.
- IT literate conversant with MS Office, Google Mail, SharePoint, MS Visio and MS Project and SAP.
- An individual with the ability to combine a short term, pragmatic focus with longer term planning and vision.
