We are recruiting a **property maintenance coordinator **for a property rental agent. You will oversee all maintenance for a domestic property portfolio.
The position is full-time and permanent, working on a rota basis over five days between Monday and Sunday for a minimum of 39.5 hours per week in the office, plus on-call duties. Subject to holiday & sickness cover, the position would offer alternate weekends off. (Details of the on-call rota are available.)
**A driver's licence and the use of a car are essential.**
Previous experience in a similar property maintenance position is preferred.
We need someone with a keen eye for detail who enjoys administration, as clear audit trails are essential.
The main objective of this role is to have an overview of all property maintenance issues for the national property portfolio. To work with our team of contractors, you will need to have a good understanding of how domestic appliances function and an aptitude for dealing with all utilities, such as gas, electricity, and water.
Part of your job will be to assess how urgent a fault is and how to handle it so you can advise the landlord accordingly, agree on an action plan, and implement it.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Handling enquiries from landlords and tenants,
- Property management issues
- Conducting inspections, inventories, and viewings when required.
The position would suit someone passionate about excellent customer service, proactive and commercially aware, and able to work to strict deadlines.
We need someone positive, enthusiastic, and troubleshooting by nature. Above all, we need a team player who can work independently when required and assist with managing less experienced staff.
Commission is paid based on team performance.
