**Working Environment**
We are looking for someone to join our small and friendly team at our extra care site in Knaresborough covering sickness and holidays.

You will assist the Chef in providing a nutritious lunch for approximately 35 residents and a small tea service in the afternoon. You will also be helping out with food preparation and general cleaning of the kitchen. Uniform and training will be provided. Come and speak to us to find out more
As
**Catering Assistant**, you will have plenty of responsibilities and opportunities to grow in your role, becoming a critical member of our team. For example, you will be responsible for ensuring the kitchen and service area is always clean, well presented, and well-stocked. In addition, you will keep up to date with menus, offering a warm and friendly service. Finally, along with colleagues, you will ensure COSHH, food safety, and H&S are followed, with any incidents reported in line with documented procedures.

**Working Pattern**: Hours to cover sickness and holidays

**Skills and Experience**
To fill the role of
**Catering Assistant**, we will require you to possess these essential skills and experience:

- Willingness to cooperate as part of a team
- Pride in quality customer experience
- Previous catering experience is desirable but not essential, with the right attitude we can train you up
