**Assembly Fitter**
**Permanent Position**

This is a great opportunity to join an internationally renowned precision engineering business. They are looking for a Technical Assembly Fitter that has strong experience in precision manufacturing using hand & measuring tools
**Shift pattern**:

- Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm for x1 week
- Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pm for x1 week
- Then repeat shift pattern

**Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications**:

- Working in a similar role within a precision engineering/manufacturing environment (Precision Aerospace, Defence, Nuclear background would be ideal)
- Strong experience working from engineering drawings and works instructions.
- Confident in the use of hand tools, power tools, and testing methods.
- Previous experience using measurements and measuring tools e.g. gauges.
- Experience of working with and to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Work Element Sheets (WES’s).
- Build, test and certify all products to customer requirements
- Interact with Production, Development and Engineering teams to maintain product supply and in the introduction of new products
- Liaise with Internal and External inspectors
- Shot blasting, Spraying and Etching components as required
- Identify and seek to continually improve processes
- Participate in cross functional teams
- Ensure continued communication and good relationships with external and internal customers
