AINTREE CONCRETE PUMPING - TRAINEE CONCRETE PUMP OPERATOR
An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a trainee concrete pump operator at Aintree Concrete Pumping. Due to the intense nature of the job, we feel the position is best suited for younger personnel in the bracket of 20-30 years.
This is a construction site role with early morning starts and only for the physically fit with a ‘proactive attitude’ as it involves regular periods of manual handling and lifting of steel and flexi rubber pipes, laying lines to place concrete to the customer requirements in all weather conditions.
Once fully trained, you will be out on site and in control of the pump on your own accord and will require multiple skills to work coherently with other site personnel, working to understand customer needs and striving to exceed customer expectations. It is due to the above requirements the role demands a self-motivated and self-thinking person who is willing to learn.
This job is a good mix of part lorry driving and part machine operator role on building sites. After each pour, the concrete will need to be washed from the machine and be greased with any defects immediately reported to be ready for the next job or following day.

Once training and certification is gained, this initial position can lead you on a long and successful career path progressing onto the less demanding Boom Pumps, offering pay increases and bonuses in excess of 30-40K.

**Salary**: Up to £40,000.00 per year
