Head of Unit

The Fleet Care Home is looking to recruit a Head of Unit (Nursing)

Our care home, based in the picturesque town of Dartmouth in Devon, provides exceptional levels of Residential, Nursing, Dementia & Respite care for 79-residents.

**Head of Unit (Nursing)** Contract**

23.50 per hour.

Contracted to 36-hours per week.

Pension.

5.6 weeks annual leave (Based on a full-time contract)

Onsite parking.

Uniform provided.

DBS.

As Head of Unit (Nursing), you will manage a general nursing floor for up to 25-residents. Your role will include clinical oversight of wounds, bloods, vaccination programme, clinical care, and regulatory requirement as well as other clinical elements along with leading the staff team.

**Key Skills & Experienced required from a **Head of Unit (Nursing)**

Nurse qualified (RGN / RMN)

Hold a valid NMC PIN.

A _minimum_ of 3 years' experience as a Qualified Nurse within the UK.

Has a good understanding of what it is like to work in a care home environment.

Excellent communication skills.
