- **Salary**:up to £23,830 per annum DOE
- **Hours**:Monday to Friday, working shifts between 8.00am - 6.00pm

**Responsibilities of a Junior Claims Advisor**:

- Provide a high level of customer service, maintaining a good relationship throughout the processes
- Assessing and processing all claims in line with company procedures and authority limits
- Drafting appropriate correspondence to clients and customers requesting additional information as required
- Resolving claims through negotiation of settlement, rebuttal of claim or declining of cover
- Instructing experts and external counsel where appropriate
- Taking part in ad-hoc projects and assisting with functions L&D plans
- Assisting with or conducting audits of external law firms to ensure their adherence to company service standards

**Skills of a Junior Claims Advisor**:

- Must have a good level of education and 6+ months of relevant experience
- Graduate or equivalent experience, and previous office based work is desirable but is not essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and comfortable talking on the phone
- Ability to be resilient and remain calm under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and comfortable in quickly assimilating and assessing information
- Ability to work well both individually, and as a strong team-player
- Multitasking and strong organisational skills
