**Typical Shifts are: Mornings - 07:30-14:30 & Afternoons - 14:30-21:30**

We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people

Our Rhodelands residential service in Doveridge is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. We provide specialist support for seven people with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge. We use a variety of communication methods depending on each individual’s preferences and the staff team are trained to support people with autism using behavioural management plans and service specific training. We want everyone we support to have positive and rewarding experiences and to develop and maintain their skills. College courses available locally include art and crafts, life skills and car maintenance. We also make good use of other local facilities such as shops and the leisure centre.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
