Our Client is one of the World leaders in the manufacture and Tier 1 supply of high-technology sensors, switches and electromechanical components for the Automotive sector. With a healthy order book, we are now actively supporting our Client in trying to find a bright and enthusiastic Supply Chain / Logistics Administrator on a permanent basis.
In this role, you will support the Supply Chain Management team in their role of fulfilling customer orders by timely and accurate administration from new part and customer set up in the system through to shipping/invoicing and reporting.
The remuneration package on offer for this position is circa £24,200 pa (negotiable); in all cases including a comprehensive benefits package, to include additional Bonus and Hybrid Working pattern Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, your role and responsibilities will be as follows:
- Set up and kick off new business within SAP from Sales data.
- Maintenance of system and supply chain related business data.
- Organisation of meetings and reviews for Supply Chain Management activities.
- Reporting and sorting data for analysis.
Qualifications and Experience ideally required:
- Should ideally be qualified to at least A-Level standard, but plenty of relevant experience will also be considered.
- You will be an experienced Administrator, ideally who also has some exposure to supply chain/logistics work.
- You will need strong MS Office I.T. skills, ideally also skilled to intermediate level in MS Excel.
- Whilst not essential, any previous experiences you have in using SAP would be useful.
- Previous Automotive industry experience would be useful, but again this isn’t essential.
- You should be a confident, methodical, well-planned and organised individual with a good personality.
