AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting

Accurately input all valid supplier invoices onto the
system to agreed timeframes.
Approve and accurately input employee expense
claims onto Business Central.
Accurately input all valid client invoices onto the
system to agreed timeframes.
Have comprehensive knowledge of client portals
and competence in using these to ensure accurate
and prompt payment.
Acts as the routine contact point, receiving and
handling requests for assistance.
Responds to a broad range of service requests by
providing information to fulfil requests or enable
resolution.

**The Role Purpose**
The Finance Apprentice will sit in our Corporate
Resources team. At the hub of risual stands our HR,
Finance, and Quality teams. Integral to the running of
the organisation this team ensures quality business
focus on everything they do.

As a finance apprentice you will need to accurately
input all daily financial transactions within a timely
manner and contribute to all aspects of risual’ s
transactional finance, supporting an efficient and
accurate finance function within risual. Working in the
finance department means you will administer the
finances of the company, with exposure to the
Management Accounts, Receivables ledger and
Purchase ledger departments. You will be responsible
for key tasks on a day to day business that will support
the wider finance and operational teams of risual
Limited.

As a finance apprentice, you will study for a Level 2
Accounts/Finance Assistant apprenticeship in addition
to your regular work, which will be supported by a
professional development plan. This apprenticeship
requires the postholder to undertake the professional
qualifications listed below:
**Duties**:
Provides first line investigation and diagnosis
and promptly allocates unresolved issues as
appropriate.
Assists with the development of standards,
and applies these to track, monitor, report,
resolve or escalate issues.
Complete and send over the funding report
to the Partner Sales Account Manager.
Accurately input and reconcile all credit card
accounts monthly.
Own and create a daily weekly monthly
rhythm for this role.

Possess IT skills and have a working
knowledge of Microsoft and Office 365
Strong analytical skills and maintain accuracy
in all responsibilities performed with an
obsessive attention to detail, extremely
diligent and highly accurate
Strong oral, interpersonal and written
communication skills working with harmony
with the Sales and delivery teams with the
ability to create and maintain positive
relationships
Ability to adjust to varying priorities in a
dynamic environment, work under pressure,
and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
Ability to retain information and recall facts
accurately.
Ability to work on your own initiative whilst
being accountable for tasks you are
responsible for whilst keeping the rest of the
team updated.
Ability to maintain the security of accounting
information using passwords and other
appropriate security measures.
The ability to examine data to identify issues
and to be able to recognise and rectify
errors. Additionally, the ability to reconcile
data to minimise the chance of errors.

Must hold or be able to successfully achieve
NPPV3 and SC Security clearance.
Able to evidence excellent customer service skills.
A minimum of Grade 5 GSCE in Maths and in
English.
