Acorn is working with one of the largest multinationals, most diverse conglomerates in the world with businesses in the UK that include some of the most successful and well-known brands across the globe.
This role is responsible for developing the IT architecture for specific Business functions with a focus on designing IT capabilities to support the corresponding business processes to support and enable business strategy.
Key duties:

- Accountable for the creation and maintenance of the IT architecture for specific business functions with a time horizon of 5 years - the Domain Architecture describes the business processes including the supporting IT solutions
- Leads the modelling of business processes, the relationship flows and IT solutions for specific business functions
- Works within a team to determine and develop and approve architectural approached and solutions, conducts business reviews, documents current systems and recommends on how to improve the current IT landscape (e.g. maintain, enhance, replace and retire)
- Assists in the development of implementation plans for key aspects of architecture within the business domain, or enterprise based on business requirements and IT strategies
- Supports the development of business process models describing the context for development of future IT solutions
Key skills:

- Knowledge of TOGAF architecture model
- Very strong understanding of corporate business processes such as concept to product, order to cash, demand to supply, procure to pay, hire to retire etc.
- Strong preference for Business or domain experience in Manufacturing or similar
- Advice and Guidance, Business Strategy and planning, Technical strategy and planning
- Experience or knowledge in a variety of IT Techniques and principles would be highly desirable including Business Analysis, Data Modelling and Software Development, especially modelling business processes using the TSUK tools (ArchiMate)
