Window Fitter

Trade Team are currently looking for a lead Window fitter to join out client to cover the Midlands area
- **Daily duties**:_
- Following written instructions & Job Specifications to required Standards
- Removing old windows and doors using hand & power tools, carefully disposing of old products and waste materials
- Checking ALL measurements & specifications for new fittings and make any bespoke changes (if required)
- To manage, train and support assistant window fitters
- Working closely with the Surveyor / Installation Manager
- Working closely with our Manufacturers
- Completing paperwork in line with PAS2030 Standards
- **Requirements**:_
- The ideal window fitter MUST BE experienced with at least 5 years hands-on fitting UPVC windows & doors (Ideally, conservatories would be a distinct advantage)
- Experience of surveying to FENSA standards would be a distinct advantage
- Qualified to GCSe Level and ideally have NVQ level 2 in Fenestration and have MTC Training. A FENSA Skills Card or Certass accreditation is a must, this will be provided in due course if not already attained. CSCS Card for site entry is a MUST
- The ideal fitter will be punctual, reliable, polite, professional, trustworthy and able to work on their own initiative when fitting windows and doors on site, often with vulnerable tenants and home owners
- Health & safety compliance is a huge part of working with our Large Clients
- Driving license is essential
