**Job Title**: Automation Platform Engineer

**Experience Level**: 6 years +

**Key Requirement**: Scripting/Python capability, AWS/Azure experience

**Summary and Key responsibilities**:
We are looking to build a platform for our IT Team. An environment for our customers to take a readymade product, and configure for the use case.

Key Capabilities

Expertise in Linux, Docker & Kubernetes Administration (EKS, AKS)
Demonstration of working in dev/ops, SRE domain in Azure AND/OR AWS
Creating ARM and Cloud Formation templates for the provisioning of cloud resources, using scripting to automate installations
Previous CI/CD pipeline development experience using Git, Azure DevOps (ADO)
Implementing Observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Cloud Watch, Open Telemetry tools...etc.
Development of pipelines to Azure and AWS cloud platforms and containerisation scenarios (k8)
Implementing automated testing as part of the pipeline
Ways of Working - Agile/Scrum experience + self-starter + ability to see big picture and analyse the detail

Desirables

Previous programming experience using java/python (or equivalent) or any other leading programming language

**Expertise in the design & build of**:
Solutions using integration services
K native Integration solutions
Connectors
HA/DR solutions
Solutions for Observability, Discoverability, CI/CD
Expert understanding of security best practices, open standards e.g., oTel, cloud events, AsyncAPI specifications
Ability to communicate effectively (oral, written and presentation skills)
