We are looking for an Accounts Assistant on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis to join the Bath Operations Finance team to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks.

Reporting to the Assistant Financial Controller, this role will require the incumbent to be primarily very strong in transactional finance functions, but also flexible and willing to undertake a variety of tasks to support the wider team.

In this role you will process payments, monitor bank statements and record transactions accurately in the ERP system. You will process supplier invoices ensuing accurate matching and resolving queries where required, and you will support the wider team in ensuring strong internal controls and processes are being followed.

This role would suit someone with demonstrable experience in a similar role who is available immediately for a contract position.
**Qualifications** Experience Requirements**:

- Good knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong experience working with an ERP system
- Competency in MS Office, especially SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, Excel
- Will be a self-starter with a strong ‘can do’ attitude
- Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills
- Is a good team player
- Will be hands on and willing to roll their sleeves up to get the work done
