Transport Clerk

**THE ROLE**:
Transport Admin Clerk

In this role you will coordinate paperwork and Liaise with the various Hauliers and departments for our Magor site operations.

OFFICE BASED
This role will be based at our site in Magor.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITES**:

- Control the logistics gate ensuring all vehicles are logged in/out of the Site.
- Complete the various system entries to ensure all movements are logged.
- Ensure all visitors/drivers have the appropriate PPE and fully aware of the site safety rules.
- Issue outbound/delivery notes to drivers, ensuring that all paperwork is correct and driver have checked their loads.
- Ensure driver are fully aware of the site safety rules.
- Create/produce export documents for the various export loads.
- Produce reports to track the number/details of the export loads daily.
- Monitor customer delivery loads to ensure they are collected on time.
- Monitor inbound loads to the Magor site to ensure they are tipped at the appropriate times.
- Ensure all vehicles in the trailer park are accounted for and have booked in.

**OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:
Qualifications. Level 2 in English & Maths.

Experience. You will have experience of working in a logistics environment and be able to work collaboratively with drivers and the team ensuring the smooth running of the department. Competent in Microsoft Office products (Excel and Stock software programs).

Communication. Show us that you have excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships both with our colleagues and with our clients. You will engage and communicate with audiences made up of a diverse background across all areas of EV Cargo.

Influence & Persuasion. You will have the ability to effectively influence others and build excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
