**Job Title**: Horticulture Tutor / Assessor

**Location**: Must be flexible with travel to Gloucester and Bristol for classroom-based delivery

**Salary**: £25,000 + benefits package (Working days: Monday - Thursday)

**Type**: Permanent

**Essential Criteria**:

- Must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
- Must have current or previous experience of assessing Horticulture Apprenticeships.
- Hold solid, occupational competency within Horticulture - minimum of 2 years (gardener or groundskeeper etc)
- Confident and comfortable to deliver training to small groups of learners.
- Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.

**Duties include**:

- Assess and support learners working towards Horticulture Apprenticeships, in a workshop / small group setting.
- Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours.
- Monitor student attendance and progress through regular learner assessment and reviews.

Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- No weekends
