On successful completion of the 2 and a half-year course, there will be the possibility of progressing onto Plant Machinery Operation licenses.

**About Y Prentis**

Y Prentis is a construction based shared apprenticeship scheme operating across south-east Wales. Funded by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and Welsh Government, we provide people across the region with apprenticeships while they study at college towards an NVQ or diploma in their relevant trade.

Y Prentis is the first apprenticeship company in Wales to be awarded the We invest in people apprentices accreditation, by Investors in People, following our successful inclusion in their pilot phase which was rolled out in November 2020. As an Y Prentis apprentice, you will earn £236.80 per week (37 Hours) in your first year and national minimum wage for apprentices in your second year.
